my dad had a contract with 3 and had a htc desire but passed away, my sister cancelled the contract and they didnt want the phone back, but when i tried to get it unlocked to orange i was told that it was blocked and would not work in the uk, can you resolve this problem?

We can’t help i’m afraid. Once your phone is blocked, it’s blocked for good. Whilst unlocking your network is legal, to un-block your phone would be illegal and not something we can help with.
